John Chismorie is a life-long resident of Chicago’s Edgebrook neighborhood. From a young age, John part-took in his family’s real estate ventures. “My professional real estate experience is credited to my parents who always taught me how to be hands-on.” He worked summers at his father’s hardwood flooring company overseeing major projects even at such a young age. Summers also included work at the family’s apartment management company. He assisted in everything from remodeling/maintenance to office administration.
John is a graduate of Edgebrook Elementary School and Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center. He has a double major in International Studies and Economics from DePaul University. John went on to intern at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, assisting in various public service projects. He later went on to assist developments in new real estate investments at a Chicago based firm.
When he isn’t working with clients, John regularly spends time in the outdoors as a conservationist and hobby farmer. He travels the world to explore history, culture and the outdoors. John is active in his local church in choir and brass band.
